I’ve had the privilege of being in Israel twice. There is so much more to the story than we can grasp….or even scratch the surface on. One aspect; and clearly not the most important is a perspective that does not exist in our North American mind set. ( I’m just casting out thoughts; not looking for arguments)
The Jewish people have walked that land for Millenia. They live on a spectrum of time that gives them a perspective that we don’t have. Our Canadian history is a thin veneer in comparison….and we apologize and forfeit what foundational heritage we have; which ironically is what immigrants were drawn to.
It is said that one’s perspective
is ones reality; and never more so than the belief that ‘the holocaust would not have happened - if they had a country. (Brick & mortar, so to speak)
They are a country, culture of divided world perspectives:
Orthodox
Zionist
Secular
Arabs
Etc.
And I heard a military Zionist state that they need the Orthodox for balance and perspective in order to move forward.
Secondly, I’ve stood in Gaza; just prior to it being handed back to the Palestinians. ( which Israel had gained in one of the wars that was instigated from Egypt and Jordan. ) In terms of warfare they have relinquished a lot of previous territory, for the sake of peace. The land that they were given in 1948, was not prime real estate. It was the least desirable of the quadrants. They deserve credit for their ability to maximize their resources. They took it because they needed a country. Again, lest we forget.
Thank you Joanie for writing this brave article. It needed to be said, to be called out, to shine a light of truth onto this nefarious darkness. There's no justification I can think of to warrant jenno siding an entire population.
To me, it's a multi-pronged pretext to engage in ritual sacrifice and a strategic land grab. You brought up many great points which are not lies, nor deception, and given all the truths that are being revealed in these topsy turvy days, those who are engaging in this obvious evil are going to have to face the music sooner or later (preferably sooner).
Thanks, Victory, for this response! ("genno siding"!)
I just finished reading Joshua Stylman's post that kind of correlates with mine... he talks about how tempting it is to want certainty ... also to be ever watchful that those in power are not, even as they seem to be doing all the right things, covertly setting the stage for another kind of control. We do know of the looming dangers of technocracy.
Very brave of you to wander into this territory (so to speak). It's not like they don't say it in their own Talmud or Torah, I forget which, that they are the chosenites and the rest of us are goyim to be their slaves if we aren't killed off first... kind of hard to ignore that. And both sects use victimhood to silence criticism...hmmm...probably said enough here. 😂
Yes, and in our revulsion for what is being done to the Palestinians, we're not then blind to the fearsome prescriptions of their Qur'an. The more relevant point, I believe, is who or how many of the inhabitants of each (in this case Gaza and Israel) still adhere to such doctrines? Don't most people now just want to lead decent, peaceful lives, free from religious zealotry? Still thinking out loud, is all.
Yes, very brave Joanie to tackle this subject. To get ones head round the origins of this racial and cultural hegonomy is a minefield. For me your essay has definitely shed some light on the problems the region faces. I look forward to further insights. Would it be too simplistic to suggest that the answer to this problem is that the peoples of the region work towards a united Palestinian Israel state much like how the UK was created in 1707? After all Jews, Muslims and Christian tribes lived in relative harmony for two thousand years or more. Maybe that's too much to ask considering the events that have transpired since the formation of the state of Israel. If we could eliminate Hamas and Netanyahu maybe the problem would start to resolve itself? Or is that too naïve of me to think like that.
Hi James! Alas, the old "oil and water" metaphor comes to mind 🤔, but outing Yahu and corralling Hamas might give things a tiny chance, I suppose. I daresay, eliminating the "chosen people" concept, might be a good start, too. Time to put that conceit to bed, surely.
The “danger” in my opinion is enabling those who seek to stop the transparency either because it exposes their own corruption or out of fear.
There are risks in everything.
I for one watch, with healthy skepticism but not cynicism. I stand with Trump & Elon in exposing all of it. Follow the money and show us the receipts.
We don’t even pretend to have fair elections anymore.
What I see are US taxes stolen, being used by One World Government Mafia by The UniParty of career politicians getting rich in office selling us out to globalist Big Corporations (CRONY fake Capitalism) with their own tax code full of loopholes bought and paid for: two heads of the same dragon.
And not all, but too many ruled by fear willing to stop the truth from being told.
I say, expose it. Cut off the funding. All of it. Get back to the Constitution.
Well summarized, Will, and yes! Trump and Musk are doing all that, for certain, and I love them for it. We can at the very least say we're "living in interesting times"!
"...the trickery and deception is more vast than we can even speculate."
Yes, exactly that and folds in distorted history - repeated over and over - and of course all kinds of info is left out.
It's a linchpin narrative for division. 'God' was hijacked along with everything else.
Mauro Biglino's The Naked Bible is quite eye-opening re the OT. No mention of God. The Elohim (Plural) were those in charge and likely came from somewhere else. Where, hard to know.
In an interview I watched he said the academic rabbis he spoke to - when he realized the OT was not about God - knew.
Paul Wallis has also done a lot of research on this. The 'obey, pray and pay' version of religion did not come from our Creator, or Source, but rather was implemented and used as a control mechanism.
Yeah, the trickery is more than we can speculate on.
I had heard about Biglino a while back; now I have some juicy reading ahead :^) Am also somewhat familiar with Paul Wallis's work. Will revisit. "God was hijacked" indeed!
Just when I thought people couldn't be more idiotic I see this disgusting article. Using only (completely debunked) anti-Zionist and antisemitic sources to present a completely revisionist history of the 7 October massacre is text book antisemitism. Why not look at what Hamas recorded themselves doing https://www.hamas-massacre.net/
Hello, Norman. I'm sorry to lose your respect, which I have valued.
Forgive me for not following your link; I'm sure it would ruin my day, and unfortunately I've lost the link to an equally devastating post of recorded Israeli atrocities.
I do appreciate all your work on the covid hoax, and your support of Rebel News (I had wanted to join a cruise with Ezra, that you were also on, a few years ago).
I’m back to, just because someone serves a tennis ball in my direction doesn’t mean I’m obligated to play tennis 🎾, you are right to question all narratives these days
Reluctant realist about this.

We all have to keep saying "NO!" to these things as much as possible.

Transparency is the key.
I used to think “trust but verify”.
Now? “Don’t trust, verify.” Trust God alone.
The “danger” in my opinion is enabling those who seek to stop the transparency either because it exposes their own corruption or out of fear.

Don’t let fear stop us from doing what’s right.

Very balanced and honest. Thanks, Joanie.

I like that! Thanks, Matt.
Not sure about Muslims...

Jews are certainly divided, just like the rest of the population, and it's a zero-sum globalist game:

Joanie, if memory serves me, I believe you are a Canadian(???)
And you speak of "...the truly great things happening under Trump’s new administration."
Seriously? (Even if you're not Canadian, how do you ignore all the protesting going on in America? Just asking.
